Rahul Gandhi's Early Life and Education

Born on June 19, 1970, in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi is the son of Rajiv Gandhi, grandson of Indira Gandhi, and great-grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru, all former Prime Ministers of India. Born into a family of politicians and intellectuals, Rahul Gandhi's schooling began in New Delhi He attended St. Columba's School, one of the prestigious schools in the city. After St. Columba’s, he moved to The Doon School in Dehradun, where his father had also studied. However, due to security concerns, he was withdrawn from The Doon School and subsequently homeschooled with his sister.


Rahul Gandhi Post-Schooling Education

After his post-graduation, Rahul Gandhi began his professional career with the Monitor Group, a management consulting firm in London. Later, he founded Backops Services Private Ltd, a technology outsourcing company in Mumbai.

Rahul Gandhi's Political Journey

Rahul Gandhi entered the political scene in 2004, winning his first Lok Sabha seat from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. He successfully retained this seat in the 2009 and 2014 elections. From 2019 to 2024, he represented Wayanad, Kerala, and since 2024, he has been representing Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha.
